THIS is what an army of 3 million donors can do for you.....put the final nail in McCain's coffin.

This will be a total wipeout news cycle wise. He's going on Wednesday night, whatever he does will dominate Thursday and Friday night news coverage, and the Sunday papers and editorials, right before the election on Tuesday.

You may not like Obama's politics but you have to admit that his campaign has been brilliant strategically.

8 years ago I thought that the democrats should of bought a shitload of infomercial type 30 minute spots. The ads are cheap and a lot of people watch. You could almost have your message running 24/7.

I just hope this Obama stunt isn't seen as too over the top.

I'm pretty sure that if Obama donors wanted their money to go to help homeowners they would have donated it to a charity and not to his campaign.

If he is elected over McCain it will help a lot of people.

Because people donated that money to get him elected President, and it would be a breach of trust to use it for something else.

Once he's President he can help alot more homeowners than he could with just his campaign funds.

To touch on an earlier question, Ross Perot did this, a few times...I still remember all of his damn pie charts and graphs.....but Perot wasn't a gifted speaker and wasn't very telegenic, so it didn't exactly put him over the top.

Obama on the other hand will hit it out of the park....and like I was saying before, it's more than just being on TV for 30 minutes, it's about dominating the evening news AND the Sunday papers right before Tuesday's election.

Because he really does not care about people.

Networks are required to offer McCain equal time. What makes this a fatal blow is that it's unlikely that McCain's side has the raw cash to pay for it.. unreal move,lol.

I'm fairly certain that he thinks he can do more help by winning the presidency than by spending a few million now and losing.
