Theres that and people are buying US Treasuries since we are still the most solid economy out there. Who else are you going to put billions behind the french? germans?

This is gonna be a rough ride but we will come back and foreign govts know it.

collegeboobies 10-08-2008 09:54 PM

US Dollar is up because other economies are crashing just as much or more than ours. And the price of gas has fallen.

flashfire 10-09-2008 01:05 AM

falling energy prices are dropping the canadian dollar...and dont exchange your money at the bank...setup forex or talk to custom house

depending on how much you make you could be leaving thousands on the table

Redrob 10-09-2008 01:11 AM

Except Japan where the dollar fell to 99 yen today.

Brad Gosse 10-09-2008 05:18 AM

I bookmark this page and check it several times daily. I sold a ton of USD at $1.11 and will be liquidating all my USD's as they come in until it drops again.

I wish I understood world economics more.

The dollar is up because other economies are failing, and historically the US has had a stronger economy than most others. The Dollar is USUALLY more steady.

ChargebackJoe 10-09-2008 08:08 AM

I don't know about other economies but the Canadian economy is far from failing. http://affiliate.silvercash.com/track/MTAxNTY5MToxMDoz/
