Seriously why is AR so slow lately?

To be honest I always found them to be slow, but even worse this last week and could be because all the tar balls being made and transferred away.:2 cents::2 cents:

I just mean the main site alphared.com doesn't make sense with their capacity that they are that slow unless some of their lines got dropped

servers there seem fine the server that has their main site tho is slow as shit.

seems ok for me

no problems here, site took only 31 seconds for loading

Capacity has little to nothing to do with speed. No matter how much shit capacity you have you still have shit...:1orglaugh Really it could be the server it's on, the router, or many other things or all of the above. Let's face facts AR is not a quality host by any means, they are simply a very cheap, low end junk host, basiccally only good for pushing cheap bandwidth at a slow pace.:2 cents:

probably too many people signing up for servers slowing it down :winkwink:
