Make money with 150/su!!!

A simple model:

Offer a webmaster program with a $150 payout per join.

Build you paysites to charge $90 per signup. (why so high? The higher it is the less people will sign up and the more people to make it to your exit sales!)

Have all exit sales go to other sponsors that offer sites for lower prices.(note: that this would also take away the worry of chargebacks because these signups are to someone elses sites.)

Another option at this point would be that these lower priced sites are some of your own that are not in the current program. (You would then get %100)

Every once in awhile throw signups to your top promoters.

Its money in the bank!

I can't believe that someone hasn't thought of it before.:Graucho

Nobody in the right mind is going to advertise a site that charges a straight up fee of $90. They clearly won't get any signups so they won't advertise it. And even if they were stupid enough to advertise it they wouldn't do it for long as they wouldn't get any signups.

Are you drunk ?

amadman 11-02-2002 09:25 AM

No I am not drunk :)

This post was really just to make a point and the prices were exaggerated to help do so.

I was just trying to display a possible persign up model that could pay high payouts but not be of much good for its promoters.

So Yeah... in real practice it would not look so obvious.

You would have to find people dumb enough to promote it.

There are already programs out there charging $49.95 for the full subscription and only paying for "active" memberships.

That's a no lose for the program operator. You get tons of exits to sell, and if someone does actually buy, you have nearly $49.95 (less transaction fees) to play with even if he doesn't recur.

And then they "cross-sell" to several other programs (not even their own) so that cheap/free trial is gonna bang Mr Surfer for a few hundred $$. Ka Ching! Slash and burn marketing, baby!
