Anybody Make Money With Thumblogger?

I am just curious to know if anyone here actually makes any money with Thumblogger's free hosted blogs. I've always heard it is better to get your own domain and hosting.

Install Wordpress MU on one of your domains if you want subdomain blogs. No point in giving away your traffic. Or risking it.

I use thumblogger. I do make sales with my blogs, and I use them to drive traffic to my other sites. I don't spend much time on each blog, and understand that they can be gone overnite.

Only newbies use that shit.

:2 cents:

Try www.PornBlogz.com also, we give on our index page traffic away to users as well. And you are with your blog to find in the ABCD listings.
On this moment we host +/- 650 blogs. The domain is new and we started a 2 months ago.

thumblogger gets good SERPs from what i can see, i'd imagine quite a few people are making good bank with it

I'm still using it for some blogs in my network. Its reliable and very SE friendly.
My main blogs are hosted on my own server with my domains.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with using these as feeder sites or link generators for your own domains. Most of my thumblogs rank very well, and they point GREAT link power to my money sites.

There is VERY FEW domains in the world that hold massive weight in google and let users create and host their own pages on them.

Anyone not taking advantage of stuff like this is foolish.

Think of it this way if you need to, every pr3-pr4 blog you have on a free hosted domain can be used to A-B-C 20 fresh hardlinks into your money pages.

I had hundreds of blogspot blogs back in the day, and people always said "your wasting your time, you will lose them" and I did, but not until i pulled 6 figures out of them.

Step outside the box and use your brain :) Making money has no borders like "domain" and "free".

Seriously, biggest fucking myth in this industry.

I've had a few that got first page rankings for some decent keywords and made money. They seem to be in the cross hairs of Google and will often get knocked down hard for no reason. I've tried to spot a pattern to avoid it but can't.

It's a gamble but I've made money from them if that's your question. Just know what you are dealing with going into it.

thumblogger should be considered as just a "part" of your strategy...

Yes, I make money with my thumblogger blogs... It's paid for the time it took me to put the blogs up there and now it's all gravy..
