Stop using Palin as your reason for not voting for McCain

What the fuck are you people thinking..

I see everywhere people saying their voting for Obama because they don't want Palin to become president.. what a fucking joke..

McCain is only 72 or 73.. MANY presidents were older than this.. christ, he could live well up through the 80s damnit, not to mention he'll have the best doctors on the planet..

Would you want fucking Joe Biden as president? That's a more realistic and likely scenario than Palin ever being president.

seeric 10-07-2008 08:29 PM

lesser of two evils.

if you have to pick one, go with the least painful.

StickyGreen 10-07-2008 08:31 PM

Instead of worrying about which of the 2 evils to pick, people should be worrying about why they only have 2 evils to pick from in the first place.

After Shock Media 10-07-2008 08:32 PM

Please list the many president that were older than him, specially when elected.
He also has health issues, which no president does well with. Specially since it ages the fuck out of anyone that has held that job.

Now I have numerous reasons not to vote for McCain and his choices, ideals, and just about everything else give them to me. The fact that he choose Palin is just another of many nails in his self built coffin.

directfiesta 10-07-2008 08:32 PM

McCain is a liar ... that would be enough for me.

We're thinking McCain has one foot in the grave and we don't want the Avon Lady running the fucking country.

I'm concerned with that, but matter of factly, nothing I can do about it.. Shall I spearhead a campaign like Brewster's Millions and crusade for None Of The Above and hope for success with only a few weeks left?

Sheeple will continue to be sheeple.. Cognitive dissonance is difficult for them to overcome when the conditioning has been going on since birth.

Yep, but so isn't Obama, but his lies are more dangerous.

Tat2Jr 10-07-2008 08:37 PM

He has a 25% chance of dying. Those are not good odds. Having Palin as the backup - it's REALLY bad odds.

Several have been older.. but yes, he would be the oldest inaugarated

BusterBunny 10-07-2008 08:39 PM

she is the only reason i am voting for mccain :2 cents:

Drake 10-07-2008 08:40 PM

You also have to take into account that every President seems to age in light years once they become President. Bush looked like a school kid (I exaggerate) when he was sworn in. But he really does look 20 years older after spending 8 years in office.

Hate Wikipedia but have at it.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...sidents_by_age

Please also note the percentage that were close in age that died in office and how quickly. (yes you can sort by age)

Of that few can dissagree that Reagan was not all there mentally in his second term. Then nearly everyone else close in such age died in office. Those are not good historical odds and Reagan was not a tortured POW who had issues with cancer.

StickyGreen 10-07-2008 08:56 PM

It doesn't matter if McCain dies, Palin or whoever the fuck else will just step in and be the new puppet.

If Obama died as president it wouldn't matter either, crooked ass CFR Joe would just step in and the strings would be attached to his arms and legs in exchange for having "KMA" on his chip when the time comes.

Biggy 10-07-2008 08:58 PM

at least obama is competent,

some of the stuff that comes out of mccains mouth in these debates is crazy.

mmcfadden 10-07-2008 08:59 PM

Can someone please post McCain's link during his POW times?

He gave up his right to freedom to let others go... goes along way in my book

Actually he gave up US intelligence info to the enemy to save his own skin....

"Demands for military information were accompanied by threats to terminate my medical treatment if I [McCain] did not cooperate. Eventually, I gave them my ship's name and squadron number, and confirmed that my target had been the power plant." Page 193-194, Faith of My Fathers by John McCain

Dude... if you put the energy forward post the real link... shit i'll just copy it as well...

"McCain's "POW buddies" have spoken up for him at political events, but it is clear that, for them, the tales of his toughness and defiance through 5½ years in captivity are more than just campaign spin. They are real-life examples of heroism, described with a catch in their voices or tears in their eyes.

Orson Swindle, 71, a retired Marine lieutenant colonel who shared a cement pad with McCain at the infamous Hanoi Hilton prison, says McCain turned down a chance to go home because he believed that those captured before him should be freed first (consistent with the U.S. military's Code of Conduct's prohibition on accepting favors from the enemy). "He chose probably to die," says Swindle, who now lives in Alexandria, Va. "That, my friend, is character beyond what most of us can understand." George "Bud" Day, 83, recalls meeting McCain in 1967 when the future presidential candidate was in desperate shape, with two fractured arms and a broken knee, "filthy, sweating, feverish." "But John refused to die," adds Day, now a lawyer in Fort Walton Beach, Fla."

etc. etc.

That's what I'm talkin about... only a few posts left and I can link the real thing for ya

spacedog 10-07-2008 09:40 PM

Hell,

I think Palin is more American than Joe Biden.
(Even though she's a fucking flake)

Your thoughts on the recent rolling stone article on McCain, mostly using his own words and those of his "friends"?

mmcfadden 10-07-2008 09:46 PM

It's a long known fact McCain has clout with war veterans. This article was from USN and there are a thousand more...

How can someone be more American than someone else? And the fact you are using the talking points of "Joe Six Pack" and "Hockey Moms" would show you're the sheep who buys into the hype of the candidates.

Um no. Only Reagan was president that was that age while President and his age showed in his 2nd term. In case you didn't get the memo McCain has had 3 bouts with skin cancer. Reagan was pretty healthy until Alzheimer's started up. Fact is 75% of our former presidents were DEAD by 73 even if you didn't included the one's that were assassinated.

Why do you have to pick either? There are other candidates running. If more Americans woulds top thinking the DEM and REP are the only 2 choices, we'd stop getting the same crap every 4 years.

No there were not. And I assume those voitng for McCain want him to serve 8 years so in 2012 he would be 76 which is OLDER than Reagan. If McCain's age is an issue now won't be even a bigger issue in 2012? So in 2012 MCain would lose and then you'd have either a President Obama anyways or a President Hillary. Makes more sense to lose now and since it most likely to be a shitty 4 years no matter who is in office, the President( in this case Obama ) and his party will get most of the blame and thus it would make is eaiser for the republcians to win the 2012 election and have a candidate that could actually serve 8 years.

BlackCrayon 10-08-2008 05:12 AM

It would be a lot easier to think spacedog really does think mccain is the better candidate if he didn't post so many racist things over the years. Oh well. I'll be happy when this election is over.

right on the money...
anybody watch south park - that episode where it's a debate between a giant douche and a turd-sandwich?

i'm a republican (unlike bush and mccain) - and listening to mccain/palin speak is ridiculous. you'd have to be a true, kool-aid drinking republican to believe anything they say. i'm not saying obama is the light of hope, but i encourage anyone who feels like i do to vote 3rd party/indep. vote to show a need for change - Nader still won't win (not that I want him to) so fuck it, why not? how much did ur vote really count anyway?

After 8 years of Republican rule if you vote Republican this time around you are a fucking moron, you got no excuses. McCaine is a fucking danger in itself, Palin just ad's yet another reason as if one needs a reason to not vote Republican at this point.

I do not care if they put Jesus fucking Christ on the Republican ticket with GOd himself as VP, I still wouldnt vote Republican.
