Well for one thing, it's not like the guy running the shop right now is the sharpest tool in the shed.

That being said, I don't think you could get elected President if you said you didn't want to get him, or if you said it doesn't matter if we get him.

What I think is funny about the whole thing is John McCain saying he'd follow Bin Laden to the gates of hell, but then called Obama naive for saying he'd follow him into Pakistan.

I guess maybe it's because hell isn't our "ally"...I dunno

Funny, how long did it take for the EU to find a Serbian war criminal hiding right under their noses......

          ..... was it 12 years, or 13?

          Just asking out curiosity...

Nothing is going to change. You are just being fed what you want to hear. Most of your votes don't even matter anyway. You will do what you're told and like it.

I dropped my jaw when he was saying "I know how to get him and I will get him". WELL why did you not tell your president how to get him the past years?

I cant believe people fall for this BULLSHIT. Makes me sad.

It wasn't the EU who was hunting for Karadzic, it were the Serbian special forces who found him. It is assumed that they knew where he is for most of the time, there was just no political will to arrest him.

Just a few weeks after the elections in Serbia, the new pro-european govermnent arrested him, because that was one of the requirements so that the talks with the EU about Serbia's membership can progress.

Oh, so when the Hague puts out an indictment on a war criminal, they don't seek his arrest?

                          Interesting...

                          And Karadzic's commander, Ratko Mladic?

14 years now and still no sign of him...

                          ....must be Bush's fault, huh.....

it's not about finding him or not - it's about 2 guys claiming that they can accomplish something that couldn't be done for the last 7 years

And as you can see in Serbia it also depends how willing the actual government is to cooperate. i just read that 44 out of 46 war criminals from Serbia have been arrested and put to court by now - a real court and not some prisoner camp on Cuba outside everyones legislation.

and Serbia is looking for the last 2 cause they volounteerily abstain from stepping forward in their process of entering the EU before they found them

so - hats off to the Serbian government for practicing democracy
