I had a PR5.

Traffic tripled, and my PR ranking went down to 2. So... PR is worthless to me.

Oh I couldn't give a fuck about it either honestly, I wasn't going for PR at the time, just worked out that way

porn does seem more difficult my 8 was mainstream btw

I had one 8 and half a dozen 7's and a TON of 6's... I sneezed and made 5's back in the day... of course that was when I was top 3 in ANY keyword I ever went after. Needless to say I was making over $30k/mnth and spent it all on beer, hookers and gambling...

PR6 a number of times, but on sites which were arguably not adult. I think Google heavily penalizes adult sites now in a way they did not used to. With no special SEO, most of my adult sites used to be around a PR5. Now most all the sites which had a PR5 are PR3.

Anyone know a way to check exactly what a site's PR history is and when it was lowered? I'd love to see if they were all at the same time and how they compare to other folks' sites in terms of when Google started being more adult-hostile.

Never messed with optimizing for page rank, etc. Someone told me a few years back mine had been an 8 at some point. Dunno how I'd ever find out what it was years ago, at this point.

when i launched google.com i got it up to a pr10

Highest I have had is a network of about 8 PR5's. At one point one of them was PR6 but they have all retained the PR5 since.

PR5 the majority of all my sites are 4's, I don't really chase after PR anymore
