Questions about Wordpress
 

Does it matter if I were to get a free blog from wordpress or should I go ahead and get a domain name and plug it in that way? Which would be better as far as for SE's?

IMHbO, eing hosted on a dedicated IP (not server, IP) is always better. Use the WP free hosting as a feeder site.

Get a domain and your own hosting. Better for everything.

Thanks for all the help everyone. I've used Thumblogger alot for blogs but never Wordpress.

i dont think a a subdomain on wp will allow adult content or what they call "questionable" at all. you should get hosting that provides wp and even if they dont the wp install package is less then 5 mins to have it up and running

wordpress free blogs are limited on what you can do with it, running your own install of wordpress has no limits.
