But seriously I work on a cam site that used to be really busy and all of a sudden it's not but he's still taking 50% of whatever the girls make.
I did a search on google.com for live web cams and I got up to page.35 and not a trase of this site. Thats not normal is it?
If he's taking 50% of what we make shouldn't this site be at least on page 2?

Haha. No. Google doesn't work like that. What its doing is very normal.

Well I dont know if you work for this guy for 50% and noticed a drop in pay with google being a major traffic source, but if so google recently (2 Months ago) changed its system of ranking and basicly things have changed. If this is not the case then nevermind this post

Ranks #1 on Google for the term "amateur web cams". According to Overture, which is by no means accurate, the term receives 12k searches per month through its partners.

Please note this statistic combines singluar and plural results. Your ranking for "amateur web cam" and "amateur webcam" is dismal.

The bottom line is that your not going to know a sites traffic unless you have access to server stats or at least if the site uses a third party counter

Search for cam+ranking+sites or however the different SEs tell you to enter it. Look at 20 or 30 of them to see if its on one. Some od them have the hits listed in total for sites as well as links out from the site.

Sounds like a plugin for some other site.gf.

Also check www.Amateurcams.com If you are there... your turn might be coming to an end. They don't treat the girls real well at times.

Yeah actually I did think of that. I'm friends with many of the girls and its the same for them.One of my friends who works on the site with me said that the webmaster of this site does no promotion what so ever (she's pretty good friends with him)

Well thats why I've posted a few times about trying to find a new site to work on.
I've tried tricams and don't like their software.I've tried sexxyeyes and there's no traffic. And I've also tried camcontacts and their software locks up all the time. So I'm now looking for a new site to work on :)
