Anyone else noticed this about CraigsList
 

Maybe im just not lucky but every person I ever hired off craigslist from guys to do simple paint work to woodwork where all serious junkies both here in NY or in CA, the most unreliable bullshitters on this planet.

And if you think you can find talent on CL forget it, you have girls show interest in your ad and ask a million questions like, can my boyfriend be on set or can I cover my face when I get filmed and finally when you get the pics it?s a fucking horse a monster something you can tell will stink up a set to a point where the amoke detectors will go off.

Just a rant, whats your CL experience with these bullshitters?

I don't know why, but people on craigslist for the most part are just.. "sketchy". Not just the ones surfing the jobs section either.

I've actually had really good luck with buying and selling shit - even very expensive items, but never tried to hire anyone from there.

Craigslist gives me the creeps. That's not easy to do.

Honestly I have only ever been to it when someone I know sends me a link.

I've only used craigslist a few times but all times I've been pleased with the people I've dealt with.

I found some ripoffs, scummy carpenters, shady programmers , shitty designers , bad customers and 1 madaam. Nice ratios if you ask me :)

Buying and selling, I've had no problems.

I've used CL as much as I've used ebay, and I'm happy with most of the results. I found my last two places through CL, a car and a cat kennel. The only thing that I can say it really sucks about CL are any kind of services. I had one and the worst experience with that and that's all I need to never again hire anyone for anything using CL.
