Awesome show. I'm becoming addicted to it. I've also just gotten in to Californication and Dexter as well. Between those shows and Entourage on demand, I have a full week of TV watching. Once Brotherhood comes back to the mix, it'll be great!

I heard good things about this new HBO series and I decided to watch the first episode the other night, and I am turned. I just need to catch up now.

The series is great and is pretty faithful to the books so far.

I think that they have been taking pretty liberal interpetations of the books myself. But all in all I think they have been doing a great job. Of course I have been a fan of the books for years.

I would love it if they would make a series based on the Laurell K Hamilton books. That is a storyline they could run with!!

Those are all the shows my husband watches. I like Dexter and True Blood. Not to crazy about the other two, but I have only watched them once.

I think they've stretched the book a bit (tara has virtually no role in the books until book 3, and even then its rather minor)
But, i do like it!

I also agree that Id love to see a series/movie on the Laurel Hamilton books! That would be stellar! :2 cents:

If you all like the show you will love the series of books by Charlaine Harris, "Sookie Stackhouse", Im just getting started on Dead Until Dark and I really like it so far. The series gives you a lot more detail about the characters on the HBO show.
