My statement about my home NFL team Chargers STAR running back LaDainian Tomlinson.

So the great LT. Sits out last years final game of the AFC Championship against the Patriots. What a bitch. Rivers played with two torn ACL in his knee. What a soldier.

The great LT: Here are his stats so far after 5 games 2008.
LaDainian Tomlinson
89 Carries
331 Yards
3.7 Average Yards per Carry
4 TouchDowns

Sunday he couldn?t make 1 yard for the TD on 4th & 1?

Fact. The Chargers should have traded LT for BIG money and kept Michael Turner!!!

...and Michael Turner? How is he doing in Atlanta you ask?

Michael Turner so far after 5 games 2008.
103 Carries
543 Yards
5.3 Average Yards per Carry
6 TouchDowns

LT needs to stop making so many stupid commercials and start playing like MAN like his hero Walter Payton.

If you agree with my statement, sign up for my program. I am the owner and I love to work deals. The only thing that will make me feel better about my losing Chargers and washed up running back is making TONS of money with YOU!!!

Supz 10-06-2008 05:39 PM

he is a has been

xratedscott 10-06-2008 05:49 PM

LT will turn it around dont worry.

Poppy 10-06-2008 05:54 PM

LT will turn it up. Yes, I was disappointed he sat out the game vs the Pats last year, but I am keeping the faith.

KingpinMedia 10-06-2008 05:57 PM

he has a fucked up toe, definitely hurting his production.

And thank GOD (not that one exists) for Michael Turner :thumbsup

IncredibleKJ 10-06-2008 06:05 PM

Give me a break. It is a little different playing QB than RB in the NFL with injuries. Turner is a good back, but not even in LT's league. Look at the stats for more that 4 games.

Cory W 10-06-2008 06:25 PM

Wow. I absolutely agree with you.

Dvae 10-06-2008 06:41 PM

Time to give Norv Turner the "heave ho"
He couldn't cut it in Washington, he's been a total fuckup as head coach in SD as well.

Mutt 10-06-2008 07:05 PM

incredible the short shelf life NFL running backs have - it's shortening - Jim Brown in his day as the best running back in football had 200 pounders to drag down the field - today's backs are colliding with behemoths 100 pounds bigger.

jesse_adultdatingdollars 10-07-2008 07:29 AM

I know Turner is not in the same league as LT. However for the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ I take Turner at this point. I know LT may turn it around, and I pray he does by next week lol.

However he does not seem hungry at this point. We all saw for a couple moments during the Raiders game he can turn it on, but thats becasue it was the Raiders & LT HATES the raiders as much as I DO. So I know he can go, I just dont see him doing his signature moves and effort. LT = Prima Donna

cykoe6 10-07-2008 08:10 AM

I have to agree with you. LT has proven himself to whiny little "me first" bitch over the last few seasons. I have lost all respect for him. Turner just runs hard when he is given the opportunity and keeps his mouth shut.

Anyway LT and Norv "Cry Me A River" Turner deserve each other.

GatorB 10-07-2008 08:28 AM

Sounds like someone is pissed that their 1st round pick in their fantasy football draft is having a bit of an off year. First of all dummy LT has had a toe injury bugging him all year. Turner? Yeah look who has has played against. Nobodies. Detroit, KC, and banged up GB defense? No wonder he got good yards. Against the 2 good defenses he's faced in Carloina and Tampa; 32 carries for a total of 96 yards. 3.0 yards per carry. ZERO TDs.

Dummy? LOL Ok I dont have time for fantasy football, but I do know that LT has not shown a whole lot of team leadership and heart since his sitting on the bench during the Patriots game. If he is hurt, he needs to hit the needle before the game like the rest of the banged up starters.

TheAmericanCannibal 10-07-2008 09:44 AM

LT is the man

Always will be.

Im doing a whole lot better than the bolts lol. How you doin? Thank God we at least beat the Raiders.

Running backs are primarily overrated. There have been few backs in history that I would consider 'must-haves' that could perform in a lot of different offenses, with less than stellar blocking schemes. Bo Jackson and Barry Sanders are two of them.

LT was the result of great blocking, look at Turner's numbers when LT would go out of games. Same with Larry Johnson, look what Priest Holmes did before him. Go look over the Denver running back history.

Trading him with high-market value would have been wise. Hell, Sproles is likely just fine to fill the role, he's all of 180lbs.

I know I am in the minority, but the facts are facts.

The Dawg 10-07-2008 10:04 AM

LT started believing his own hype. He is paid and has endorsement deals; No hunger.

As a fantasy football player he has definately been a disappointment ( just like last year ).

PS: I laughed when Ronnie Brown did the football flip this past Sunday.

Kudles 10-07-2008 10:10 AM

I completely agree!!!

Snake Doctor 10-07-2008 10:16 AM

I'm sure Walter Payton got stuffed on 4th and goal a few times in his career also.

Why do people always blame the running backs in those situations? Did you see the swarm of Dolphins on him? They had the play cold....your whole O-line dropped the ball.

That being said.....GO WILDCAT....Ricky and Ronnie are gonna run over a defense near you soon. :thumbsup

I'm heading down to San Diego this weekend to watch the chargers spank the patriots. I will be there on Sat, and I believe we are going out to the ivy. Anything else going on there this weekend?

Chargers game and Ivy are the spots. I pray we beat the Patriots.

DirtyDanza 10-07-2008 03:39 PM

a football thread got a sticky? thats just retarded

Wang Dong 10-07-2008 03:54 PM

these are interesting stats

RP Fade 10-07-2008 04:12 PM

LT started kinda slow last year as well but this year their defense is pretty bad without Merriman.

I have Turner on my fantasy football league so Im happy with his performance :thumbsup

dynastoned 10-07-2008 04:24 PM

LT can run but hes not playing good this year at all.

you gotta be kidding me....................

he didn't turn anything on he had like 60 yards on 19 carries and like 2 fumbles and one for a safety.. then on like their last play of the game after the raiders defense had been on the field the entire game someone missed their assignment on the backside of the defense and he ran in untouched. i could have even scored on that fuckin play.

LT aside the bolts record is totally misleading. The Panther game could have been a win and the Bronco game should have for sure been a win. So at worst things should be 3-2 and had Panthers not made that catch it should be 4-1.

LT has toe issues. Turf toe is no joke. I mean I do think the guy is a bit of a pussy with playing through any pain. However, I'm not counting him out.

I think the O line needs to work. Rivers isn't getting the looks he needs and LT isn't getting the blocks he needs. Dude is fast. I don't know if it's him missing Neal as full back on certain plays too. Tolbert might not be performing as well. Maybe it's the missing of having turner as well. So people can just focus on LT.

Adjustments are happening though and I think Chargers are going to have things a bit more dialed and be ready for this Sunday night against New England.

I'll be there to see it go down.

StickyGreen 10-07-2008 04:41 PM

Fuck LT's bitch ass...

I hope LT snaps the fuck out of it and has a 200 yard game against the Pats. I just dont see it. Rivers will have to carry us this season with his arm.

Poppy 10-13-2008 11:26 AM

Don't give up on the Bolts Jesse. Great performance last night. You can tell that LT's toe is bothering him. Turf toe sucks.

sltr 10-13-2008 11:27 AM

it was a high boltage game last nite!
