Which hotel to pick in Vegas? (young crowd)
Hey Everyone,
we are going to be 4-6 people going to Vegas for the end of October. Ages: 21-22 years old I hear the Palms is a great party place, but being off the strip might be difficult for walks to get in and out of the hotel. I have already stayed at THEhotel at Mandalay Bay, and it was great, but maybe not the right crowd for us. Where do you guys think we should stay? Thanks! |
I'm going this weekend and I've got a room at The Palazzo. It's my first time I'm staying there, don't know what the crowd is like but the hotel itself is very nice.

Went to Vegas couple weeks ago and stayed at The Palms Place. Check out the 2 Bedroom Suite. Awesome room. http://www.palmsplace.com/accommodations/2bedroom.php
|
And also, where can I find the cheapest flight deals from LAX or BUR to Vegas?
|
southwest airlines and the hard rock or the palms
|
Nice rooms but sort of expensive. Im definitely going in Jan but hoping to find a bargain hotel, so I can book 2-3 rooms for the weekend and fly out the boys for a week of heavy mongering :)

hardrock is awesome very laid back

depends on what kind of crowd you want honestly.
i like Luxor, its a nice hotel for the price. Close to MGM and Mandalay bay. Luxor and MGM have decent clubs with younger crowds. Ive found that the Venetian area (Palazzo, Wynn, Bellagio, etc) are more of a "stuck up" kinda crowd. If your looking just to party and hookup with some young tail, and dont have a bank roll that can choke a hippo, then id say hang out toward the MGM/Luxor/Mandalay Bay area. A lot of the girls i know when they go in groups stay at those hotels. Either way, Vegas is still fun as shit and im a bit jealous :winkwink: |
MGM Grande is always a blast, but the Palms and Hard Rock seem like more of a party atmosphere.
Have the latest Maxim? It has a decent Las Vegas article... Topless Pools: Sapphire - Rio Casino (stocked with 20-35 strippers so regular girls feel comfortable too) Moorea Beach Club - Manadalay Bare - Mirage Go Pool - Flamingo Venus Pool Clube - Ceasars Palace Hard Rock supposably has the best Black Jack - hot dealers in uniforms with pole dancers behind them. |

It's really not that far from the strip, only a few blocks. The Hard Rock is actually just as far as the Palms from the strip, and harder to walk to due to the construction. Planet Hollywood is centrally located and a younger crowd. It's somewhere inbetween lets say, Treasure Island and THE. The new rooms are nice, but the older rooms are old Aladdin's rooms, and leave a little to be desired. I'd say it's sort of a decent middle of the road sort of place. I guess really it depends on what you are looking for; I tend to like something a little more low key than what someone who's 21 is looking for. |
If you're short on cash, try the tropicana or even Imperial Palace. Both have great locations and are economical.

My favorite place to stay is the Venetian :) You've got Tao right downstairs too if that's your sorta thing...
If you're looking for party hotels though your best bet are the Palms and the Hard Rock, both of which are off strip... Everything is a quick cab ride away though so what's the big deal? edit: Forgot about planet hollywood, one of my favorite places to hang out but I've never stayed there, maybe worth a look. |

southwest.com for sure! :thumbsup |
Doesn't matter where u stay cabs are cheep and only time your in the room is to sleep or fuck. A young crowd like that i think you'd like hard rock or the palms.
|
Hard Rock and Palms are the young people hot bitch hotels.
Nothing else compares. |
they are all right next to each other, who cares
|
I forgot; if you do stay at the Palms, try and see if rooms at Palms PLace are available. They are much nicer.
|
Hard Rock
|
I've always had the best luck at the hardrock
knock on wood =) |
HR or PALMS for what you are looking for...no question
|
