I saw gas for $3.25/pg yesterday.

All I see is "Holy shit" on all channels, papers & websites :)
Time to get this crisis to an end and get on with normal bizz again.
How can fucking rumours, fear & negative emotions break down an entire system ?

Alcohol and Sin. The Industry will not fall all of the sudden.

You are right when it is about banks, mortgage guys or companies that were never solid in the first place, but I don't see a good reason (except fear powered by media) why many solid non-financial companies drop at this RATE.

You, my friend, must not have too much knowledge about basic economics. Try reading up on supply on demand, I assue you it's useful.

I dont' have much kwowledge indeed about stocks & international stock markets :)
But I am beginning to feel fed up with all these channels bringing ONLY bad news on TV 24/7, nothing else on TV anymore and thus feeding a really negative influence to the people like: Black mondays, zero consumer confidence, drama, bankruns, etc.

I don't say I am any kind of expert I just see too much negative information overflow on all media formats and I see it's effects.

Unbelievable but I found a gas station in New Jersey at 3.09 for 87 octane, I had him fill it beyond full (I think its spilling out of the gas port) lol Amazing but just across the water in manhattan its 3.69 at best.
