On a related note, expect to see an unprecedented onslaught of 'attack' ads and interviews undermining Obama's character throughout the entire month up to the election. Rev. Wright will be revived, associations with commies, claims of not support troops, un-American, not born in America etc. It'll be interesting to see how it all plays out.

Wasn't it McCain that was not born in the US? I thought McSame was born in Panama and Obama was born in Hawaii?

Yeah but McCain was like 22 before Hawaii bcame a state so he's used to it not being one.

Ever since McCain dissed him and didn't go on his show so he could "hurry" back to washington to save the country Dave has been on fire. I think if he really had gone back to washington Dave would be cool with it, but that he then went on Katie Couric, did a speech for the Clinton global group, had dinner and stayed the night in NY before heading to washington it really burn Dave up.

Yep, they announced they are going to do it and already started. Today Palin went after Obama saying he hangs out with known terrorists.

This could get very ugly. McCain has been around a long time so there is plenty of ammo to use to fire back on him.

I would love to see an ad that showed McCain and the Keating Five and some of the great stuff he did to help Keating with the savings and loan collapse. You could make it short, sweet and simple. Just have a short ad that asks: "What are the similarities of the savings and loan collapse from the 80's and the banking collapse and economic troubles now? A Republican in the white house and John McCain in he middle of it."

Obama has shown he will hit back, so if you live in a swing state get ready for every commercial on TV to be about how bad the other guy is.

Indeed. They could also point out that Mccain never even realized his own wife was addicted to painkillers. What else is Mccain not going to notice?

Not to mention that McCain claims to be in touch with the common working class people yet he has 10 hours, 13 cars and when he went with a family to a discount grocery store to see how they had to shop in order to feed the family he wore $500 shoes.

I will lose faith in americans if she becomes the VP.
