Damn for some reason dollar raising as crazy.Maybe it will reach original value before falling down.I hope bailout wont be approved since it started to raise after rejected bailout.

Imagine when the dollar starts dropping even more how expensive gas will be. The middle east want their enormous profits from oil and they just raise the price again again again if the dollar goes down. That will happen if McCain takes office. Expensive oil means that it's expensive to sail products around the world (Like Maersk and other shipping companies does) and that will bump the prices on those things. That's just one of man things...

The best thing that could happen to everyones money is Obama.

This is one post, that as an American ... I have to say - agreed. Heres an idea support american products, stop selling out the country for 2 dollars less.

Exactly. That's probably why as many Canadians were watching the Palin-Biden debate as those who were watching our own leadership debate last night.

I watched both.

As an aside...I always find it odd when some American on this board criticizes Canadians for not "minding their own business" when we are each other's largest trade partner in the world. It should come as no surprise whatsoever to anyone that people from other countries are looking in and keeping tabs on what's happening in the US, especially the political arena.

Apart from the oil rich arabs - yes. USA goes down - europe follows.

However, dont dream that the whole world is going down with you. Many emerging economies such as India and China are only going to be reporting slower than anticipated growth. Sure they're stockmarkets are getting hit but they are not experiencing problems with their banks and they are not facing anywhere near the same level of dire economic problems.

However, thats besides the point. The reason i'm saying you're fucked is not because of that but because you have a shot at reversing trend with Obama. If you choose McCain then you can continue on the same path ie downhill for the next decade.

We may be fucked financially but you Euros will always look to use for help when shit hits the fan militarily. REst of the world are pussies.

- I held back a post on this thread. It was too truthful. Its not just Euros ... some of these countries weighing in dont even have a military. Some might as well be walking down the street with dollar bills hanging out their ass, easily fucked - and who's protecting who? America in a bad economy is bad for the whole world. Its like starving pit bulls and wondering why you get bit everytime you smile in their direction ... America in its worst economy is better than any other country at its best.
