We actually didn't have the ex-editor onboard, we had him expressing interest in coming on board right before the bottom fell out. He was replaced at maxim shortly after. He was a cool guy.

Damn fine domain name. I think you could do a number of things and do very well with it.

This domain is obviously worth a high figure, and I don't see how ANY domain brings that kind of value to a gay porn site.

What is the highest gay porn domain sale of all time? I'll bet it's not even 10% of the value of your domain. Point is, I would think it's overkill for gay porn.

I agree with that. You don't want to taint the domain. Its an easy quick and affordable way to monitize the domain but you won't be selling for a million bucks like men.com did if you do.

Very possible but not something I would know. Domain sales are often published so that kind of info is a lot easier to find. Gays.com sold for $500,000 a couple of years ago. Male.com should be able to beat that, in my opinion although the market isn't quite as hot right now due to the economic situation.

We would not want to get rid of it for under 7 figures and nobody has stepped up that high, so we wouldn't mind putting up the real estate in a partnership deal. If someone came up with the cash it would be theirs. :thumbsup
