For All You Beer Drinkers Out There

If you had purchased $1,000.00 of Delta Air Lines stock one year ago you would have $49.00 left.

With Enron, you would have had $16.50 left of the original $1,000.00.

With WorldCom, you would have had less than $5.00 left.

But, if you had purchased $1,000.00 worth of beer one year ago, drank all of the beer, then turned in the cans for the aluminum recycling REFUND, you would have $214.00 cash.

Based on the above, the best current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle.

It's called the 401-Keg

A recent study found the average person walks about 900 miles a year.

Another study found beer drinkers, on the average, 22 gallons of alcohol a year. That means, you'd get about 41 miles to the gallon!

You've convinced me.

I'm going to start investing in my future right now.

"22 gallons of alcohol a year."

This study must have not included Australia! 22 gallons sounds like a fun weekend :)

To bad the CRV tax you pay is more than the aluminum deposit you get back per can. Which means you still have nothing aside from the beer you purchased, that was over priced to begin with when compared to home brew prices.

Oops I got all logical and serious in an antique joke thread that should be handled with care.

Nice...

Growing up and still today, my parents save up beer/soda cans from events, home, friends, ect and turn them in once a year. Each year they pay for a vacation with those cans, covering all costs. Yes, it's that many cans, yes Texas people drink that much beer and dr. pepper.

A man down the road from my parents picked up cans on the side of the roads for about 5 years. At the end he paid tax free cash for a new truck. It was his form of exercise that paid off in an odd way.
