My dog jumped the fence this mornin and ripped a hole in her stomach....(pic)
 

I just got home from the vet and they said she didnt tear any muscle, just the skin. what a wonderfull way to wake up this mornin....

AWWW! Poor baby. I hope she is okay. Did she need alot of stiches? And that does suck for you but I bet your glad it wasnt worse!

actually, if i didnt notice blood on the floor in my kitchen, i would have never known. she wasnt even limping.

yeah, i dropped her off at the vet. they have to put her under to stich it back up. i have to pick her up later.

In fact when our dog did this we searched for her for several hours. Eventually we found her laying in a wardrobe, very aggressive to anyone approaching her. Appearantly wounded animals seek shelter to die "in peace".

she acted like there was nothing wrong with her.

This thread was starting to bring me down because of all the pics of the hurt dogs.

This is the one that always gets to me. I tear up every time I see it and its one of the reasons I am trying to get a pitbull from rescue now. This is the guy I am hoping to get. His name is Bohdi so everyone cross your fingers for me!!

i did the same thing when i was about 12

we were tryng to jump 6' chain link fence on our bicycles

I ended up hanging from my left arm from the top of the fence jabbed into the skin right on the inside of my elbow and peeled it back about 4 inches.

I was hanginging there looking at all kinds of neat shit inside my arm. Luckily missed the main line, What a mess thoough, even with stitches it took forever to heal because your constantly moving that part.
