The Reform for Fannie, Bill S.190 was introduced by the Republicans....in fact, McCain co-sponsored.

The Bill had to go through committee & gain 60% support. The committee is made up of 20 members.

At the time, 11 were Republicans and 9 were Democrats. To get 60% majority vote, the Republicans needed ONE Democrat to support the bill.

Not one Democrat voted for it and so the bill died in committee.

Actually mcain didnt get himself added on to the bill until 2006 and considering in 2004 they controlled it all. If it was so important they could of pushed for a vote.
Also Mccain's campaign manager has been getting payment from freddie and fannie til may 2008 but that doesnt matter. THey are all whores.

Poor republicans having to deal with all the Dems messes. LOL

Pretty much all politicians do is blame each other.
