Why would no one want to run with him? The odds of them becoming President when his cancer coated heart explodes are great. Seems like free ticket to the Presidency to me.

Theme of the debate: There will be blood

In her interview with Katie Couric she also basically said we should support Hamas. Couric asked what she thought when democratic elections produce results we don't like for example when the people of Syria elected mostly members of Hamas. Palin went on a diatribe about supporting democracy and free votes and said a bunch of junk, but she made it sound like we should support any democracy which would include Hamas. It was pretty funny.

I go to a bank, so I have banking experience. Can I be VP too???

Yea, it's nice that Falin tries her hardest to put political spin on even the simplest questions. She is perfect drone material!

If they are chosen into office by their own people I do not see a problem either.

PennyLane (not Flame) 10-02-2008 05:54 AM

Seriously that girl has no clue.... how can you go that far and being that stupid! (rhetorical question)

Dennis Rodman 10-02-2008 06:13 AM

I didn't watch the video, but in all fairness, I could not name a newspaper publication that I read either. I get all my news from the web. Maybe it's just the fact that she is younger and more technologically astute than those around her? Just a possibility.

I read most of my news online too, but I can spit out NYTimes, CNN.com, Reuters, etc., without opening up my Google homepage.

Wizzo 10-02-2008 06:37 AM

What's really funny is I asked my 12year old daughter to pretend she was Palin and asked that question and she gave a better answer than "any and all of them" :winkwink:

Grammatical errors in sentences questioning the intelligence of others make me smile.

You are right though, women belong in the kitchen, not the white house. :thumbsup

Yea, but its still fun to make fun of people who know more than one language even though I don't.

Je mange la grande chatte!

Vendot 10-02-2008 07:26 AM

You missed it.... she said: "Ive read most of them, again, with a great appreciation for the press, for the media."

When Katie Couric asked which specific newspapers she read, she replied: "All of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years. I have a vast variety of sources where we get our news. Alaska isnt a foreign country where its kinda suggested it seems like wow how could you keep in touch with what the rest of Washington DC may be thinking and doing when you live up there in Alaska, believe me Alaska is like a microcosm of America."

So............. like it seems she didnt just read a few, she read ALL OF THEM and ANY OF THEM which is more than most people!!!

Plus she has a great appreciation of the press.... which is also cool and she deserves a gold star for that. Hang on a minute, why the fuck does she appreciate the press/media? Theyre fucked up.

Well she may not be the brightest light on the tree but consider this:

(1) How many lights do you need on a tree?

(2) Why would you want lights on a tree? Its not christmas yet for another 3 months.

(3) Why should the lights be so bright? Remove all the bright ones and the remaining light will look fairly bright at night time.

(4) Do you really expect an intelligent leader of the USA?

You should run for VP on the GOP ticket.... What do you see from your house ? You could be overqualified....

Why strange? Americans love dumbos....

SilentKnight 10-02-2008 03:48 PM

Now if only we can get Pam Anderson to run for PM of Canada.

Imagine the conversations Palin and Anderson could have at Camp David.

That's got to be one of the most ignorant, stupid, imbecile, idiotic, moronic .. damn, I'm running out of adjectives, things I've ever heard anyone say.

Your mom's weekly knitting circle gossip really shouldn't be considered a source for anything outside the realm of baking biscuits.

Mitt could have helped him with some of the independents, but I really think if he picked either Mitt or Lieberman he wouldn't have had a chance at winning. He can't win without the support of the evangelicals. They are already wary of him so if he were to bring on the Mormon or the Jew I'm pretty sure most of them would have turned their backs on him. They may not have voted for Obama, but they wouldn't have voted or would have voted for a 3rd party candidate. He needed someone line Palin to help him win over the evangelicals. The problem is she is such a bad pick that she has turned off many of the independents.

If she somehow manages a home run in tonight's debates that could change and she could help McCain, but whatever help she gives him will be minimal. Her risk, as it turns out, is probably fare greater than her reward.
