Adult Webmaster Radio/Podcasts

Any that are still active?

I subscribe to the Sin2.0 one and am just looking for more..

Barefootsies 10-01-2008 04:55 PM

It is the only one I know of.

Damn shame too when you look at the quality of Sin 2.0 and WMR.

I hear Netpond had something like it. Never could get it to work. Also they no longer archive. Which is typical.

Most adult sites are not about the 'community' or industry. It's about self serving interests.

:2 cents:

Dean still has his archive up at http://www.glampod.com/ if you haven't listened to them already.

good point

Thanks for the info.

I think it is a shame. I'm sure a huge amount of work goes into producing a regular show but given the numbers of adult webmasters I think it could be financially rewarding if you are able to build up a decent fanbase and can get sponsorship from some of the big players.

Check out Radiodentata.com

I wish the radio from the webmaster portal started back in 1996 which has a question mark as a logo ( log way around to avoid being banned) was around.

That was a radio for webmasters and really serving the industry!

Yes Shane and Oceania do an excellent job!

DivaShane 10-02-2008 02:25 PM

Thank you Jay and Mo for the mention.
As a matter of fact we are in the process of putting together a block of webmaster oriented shows now.
If you guys have any suggestions or would like to get some information on hosting a show of your own let me know.
Happy webmastering!!

I'll have a new show coming soon, podcasted, archived, pre-recorded interviews.

I'm going to pick an area of business and have 4 different people on the show from different sides of that business model. The goal is to dig deeper into things while learning how to make more money.

For example, one of the future shows will target the tube market. You'll hear from tube owners, affiliates that submit to tubes, people who advertise on tubes, producers who market videos on tubes and more. (I won't support illegal tube sites)

Other shows will cover processing, hosting, marketing and more.

If anyone wants to secure a spot on a future show, hit me up.

I remember listening to some online webmaster radio show back years ago but I haven't even though about it in years. That sounds like the way to do it though, Darren. Do it as a podcast so people can listen at their own convenience, archive it on the site and get some advertisers. If you get a show together about content production, video editing,/encoding, the DVD market or VOD, I'd be interested in participating.

LukieD 10-02-2008 02:45 PM

Awesome, can't wait Darren. Sounds like the ideal show - news, entertainment and making more money!

Looking forward to the webmaster shows too Shane!

DivaShane 10-02-2008 02:54 PM

Thanks LukieD,
We have already been in touch with quite a few industry leaders who will be lending their voices and considerable talents to our webmaster programming so we are really looking forward to launching this baby. I'll be sure to post as soon as we are ready to launch. :)

Awesome, I'll hit you up when we do that feature.
