slow loading sponsor landing pages just has to affect sales
 

I was testing a few links today, and still wonder how come so many sponsors have such slow loading tours and landing pages... I almost lost interest and went somewhere else, I can imagine a surfer not even waiting for the sales pitch at the rate some of this stuff loads

maybe it was on your end possibly? But i have ncountered the same.... any potential buyer woould just say fuck it and move on

I've noticed that too. I attribute the lag to their server side includes and scripts.

That's a sales tactic. It's called building the suspense.

Tubes are to blame for that and that's why they need cross sales.. to make up for shitty designs...

See the problem is too many people are trying to impress the potential affiliates with some heavy designs but are forgetting that you have a split second to get the surfers interest before they hit the back button or close their browser altogether.

The surfer doesnt join a site because he loves the cool flash or the amazing animation, simple tours sell, simple as in easy to load that get to the point.

Another tip dont host your members area on the same server as your tours.
