Attention conspiracy theorists

The word is out that Nancy Pelosi wants to block any investigations into the roles of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in the economic collapse.

Apparently, many former Clinton administration people and important Dems are involved up to their eyeballs.

Gee, I wonder why she doesn't want to get to the bottom of this?

:(

Quagmire 09-30-2008 09:33 AM

Just might be because politicians are crooks?

Are you try to lead anyone here to believe that Republicans arent in the same boat? You really need to wake up.

I will take 100% responsibility for all of this. Sorry America I took your trillions to the UK to bail myself out.

Nasty nasty democrats ...

Quote:

Stevens, the Senate's longest-serving Republican, was indicted on on July 29 on seven counts of filing false financial disclosure forms from 1999-2006. Federal prosecutors said Stevens "knowingly and willfully engaged in a scheme to conceal" bribes from VECO Corp., including $250,000 worth of gifts and renovations for his home, in return for help in obtaining contracts and the construction of a natural gas pipeline. He is only the tenth sitting U.S. senator in history to be indicted while in office.

The 84-year old lawmaker has been part of a federal probe of the VECO corruption controversy since last year, when former VECO chief executive officer, Bill Allen, testified that the company was responsible for remodeling Stevens' home. Federal agents raided the senator's home in July 2007.

Allen's testimony was made during the trial of former Alaska Republican House Speaker Pete Kott, who was sentenced December 2007 to six years in prison for similar corruption charges. He is scheduled to take the stand for the first time in Stevens' trial late Tuesday.

The investigation of VECO has implicated other state officials. Alaska State Sen. John Cowdery was also charged in July for accepting bribes from Veco in exchange of legislative votes for certain oil and gas legislation in 2006.
Democrats ...

Not really that shocking really!

pigman 09-30-2008 02:45 PM

Its actually the banks themself that are solely to blaim.
No laws or regulations are to blaim. The banks overvalued their subprime loans to be enable to borrow more money.

Another rumor. The US government was infiltrated by neo-conservatives.

Neo-conservatism was founded by a Jewish Communist New Yorker.

Trotskyism = Permanent & global socialist revolution.

Does it ring a bell? So-called war on terror, so-called human rights, so-called liberal democracy, so-called one world, so-called world government, so-called new world order.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neoconservatism

"The first major neoconservative to embrace the term and considered its founder is Irving Kristol, an American Jew from an orthodox Jewish family, and father of William Kristol who became the founder of the neoconservative Project for the New American Century. Irving Kristol had been an active supporter of Trotskyism."

The British secret service allowed Lenin to live in London and Trotsky spent quiet days in Vienna, admired by Western European intellectuals.

One century later, there is evidence that Islamic terrorists have been working for American and British secret services. History repeating itself.

AlienQ - BANNED FOR LIFE 09-30-2008 03:22 PM

SPin.. Fact is. Bushies de-regulated that segment of the financial industry some 5 years ago. TOday is a result of that de-regulation.

xmas13 09-30-2008 03:37 PM

The financial crisis is a deliberate sabotage of the economy by the neoconservative cabal operating out of NYC, on US soil against the interests of the American people, their fellow countrymen. The shortage of electronic money is wanted, just like the abundance was. US officials are full of shit.

Economic sabotage = terrorism.
