Oddly enough, I understand. You may have said it in jest, but I take beef jerky very seriously.

It is the perfect food. It can come in so many consistencies and flavors that the variety of types of beef jerky in the world is VAST. When you find good jerky you cherish it like little pieces of smoky beef heaven.

I could live off beef jerky.

I take my beef jerky VERY seriously. I only said that because I was eating it at the time.

I could live off it too. I particularly love spicy/chilli Jerky but I will eat any jerky anywhere, anytime. I have converted quite a few people to jerkyism as well. Pity really good jerky is so expensive.
