Weird how they were seeking 0.7 trillion to inject into the economy and yet, they lose 1.2 trillion because it didn't go thru. Amazing.

I don't think the bailout package is going to help much at all. Maybe do something for a week or a month but in the end it's not the magic bullet everyone is hoping for.

Stock market is a zero sum game. Wealth is not lost only transferred.

Well you have never lost or gained a dime until you sell. Yet those that claim nothing was lost, that it just moved to others is not really true.. The Dow is worth less money than it was yesterday. The market suffred a very large loss in a whole because the stock's vault tanked.

What the bail out package does is to help the little people sleep at night, and not make a run on the bank for their cash.
