www.google.com or www2.google.com ???
 

www.google.com is showing my correct page listing, while www2.google.com is STILL showing an old outdated index page that no longer resides on the servers.....which listing is the real one?

google is updating. itll be fixed as soon as the update is done. maybe by monday????

That depends if the dance is over. If it is, then the one on www is right, if the dance is still ongoining, then the one on www2 is closer to the truth, but is still not set in stone (for the month at least).

The dance (the movement of the results before they settle) usually takes 2 to 4 days. It started yesterday. I have heard that they might have gotten better and that the dance might actually be over.

Only time will tell...

but which listing do i trust?

on www.google.com (with the correct index page) I have a #1 listing and on the other, i'm #4.

www is the one sending traffic

www2 and www3 are the ones all the SEO types frequent to see whats goin on and where its headed...

right now www2 shows the next update and www is showing last month's update
the results shown on www2 should take the place of the ones on www in a matter of days
