Stupidity.

You can buy things with money you don't have.

I don't understand people who live their life chained to debt. It just doesn't make sense anyway you look at it.

To me,

the cause seems to be related to "over-population".

It was a whole different ball game back in the baby boomer days.

The rapid increase in outsourcing the last 20 years or so is slapping us in the face as well.

All of our money that goes out over sea's for oil and other goods just IS NOT making it's way back to the USA anymore for re-circulation.

But maybe i'm stupid :)

I agree, but what came first, the chicken or the egg? The federal reserve and creditors in general facilitated this by handing out credit with only having a heartbeat as the main requirement.

Most people don't have a choice. The average working person can't afford to buy a nice car or even an "ok" house paid in full.

Agreed, most people are used to 30 year mortgages and those that couldn't qualify for one jumped at the chance get their dream house.

A lot of people are credit card crazy and these big companies don't wont these people to get their shit together so before they let em off the hook it's just easier to send them another card even though they are not proned to pay it all back.

Pay a loan with a loan. Buy with credit and worry about paying for it later and if you can't pay it's not my fault as they shouldn't given me another card/loan knowing my credit score etc.

The bulk of these people are trained.
