All you damn fools, USA is fine - If we fall alot of countries will fall with us.

They wont let that happen. We are just in some bad debt but It will just make us a stronger powerhouse 5-10 years from now. Still plenty of money to go around and keep business running. I think this is just a sign that AMERICA needs to stop living like we are all in a hollywood movie. We got into this problem cause dumb fucks were like yea I can afford an $3,000 mortgage, it wont go up to $7,000 for another 3 years, I'll be rich or get my raise by then, instead no raise and you had a child, lol so you had to foreclose. Buy shit but take it easy, don't get some $3,000 rims on your car with your credit card, lol. Cash money baby. If you just pay cash for everything, we all save money.

wtfent 09-29-2008 02:16 PM

Credit cards give people a fake sense of cash flow. Think about it. If you had a $3,000 mortgage and had about $15,000 in credit on hand, you can go almost two years putting shit on your card while still paying your mortgage, makes you feel like your cash flow is the same but of course its not. When your cards are full, you have an extra expense, make a late payment then shit starts to hit the fan. You start buying shit that you need like food with your cash and now you cant pay for your mortgage so it gets foreclosed. Now you're down and out and probably less productive, trying to find a place to rent, you're trying to save what you have, you stop buying porn online,s top eating out and start pinching every penny and it fucks us all. If you just bought a home you could afford and didn't use your credit cards we might not have ever had your business so we wouldn't be loosing it. When everyone is shitting bricks you could have said, hey I'm gonna relax and buy some online porn today, I got a few extra bucks to spare.

I buy EVERYTHING with cash. If I can't afford it, I don't buy it.

Been working for me for 10+ years now. Not a penny in debt.

Eriic 09-29-2008 02:25 PM

Thanks for explaining it Jethro...........

I have 1 credit card and it is paid in full. We keep it for travel and such. Also good for purchasing some of the local high ticket items, as they often offer them Interest free if you use X card, and we ususally have the right one.

Meanwhile, in the news this week, up to 2 million more american families stand to lose their homes in the next 6 months.

Can all of them really be "dumb fucks"? There's really no mortgage crisis, it's all a myth?

Really?

$3000? I had to take out a subprime mortgage just to get my rims!

Everything is fine. You guys watch to much damn news! Shit if it came down to it, we will all live in the fields with our neighbors and grow vegetables and hunt, haha. So what, that would be good times. Its just money, not our life. I am happy anywhere life puts me and will maximize it as much as I can.

Nope. Not all dumb fucks. But as jobs are lost because companies can not borrow to pay the pay roll or need to scale down because they can not borrow money, those lost jobs are gonna be left holding their ass and no way to pay their mortgage.

It's a sad and bad situation. Yea, there are a lot of dummies out there but it's going to hit a LOT of solid people who really should be able to pay their house payments.

I'm sure the bankrupted families and institutions agree with you.
