Just because events in Iraq are not covered does not mean it's working.

I have since been watching the claims of the surge to be "Working" in the media and out of Politicians lip's from both Repubs and Democrats.

Is actually not true. Not true whats so ever.

The trending of American death's has gone down but the number of Iraqi Deaths has gone up. Just because American troops are bunkered in the forts and not patrolling does not mean the surge is working during election season.

So do not think for a minute the surge is working it's only working because American troops are hiding during election season to bolster the Republican claim the surge is working.

Funny fact's of politics.
SO the surge is nothing more than an expensive ploy to the American people. Iraq is still as unstable as it was 6 months ago or even a year ago. Don't be fooled by the Media. Remember who owns the media, and the media will make you believe what it tells you and make you believe what it does not tell you.

In this case. Yes American troop deaths are down. The Iraqi Death count is not, the internal war between Iraqi's is far from over. As of this post the number of Iraqi deaths is 1.2 Million Dead from infighting and imported terrorism.

McCain was grossly underestimating the will of those people to expel us and be dominate over opposing tribes when he pledged to keep our troops there for only 100 years.

Fact is American Troop activity has been reduced since the surge which means our increased number Soldiers in Iraq are basically sitting in bunkers and doing nothing while the election season plays out.

It's a complete crock of shit lie being played on us. If American troops were in the field and conducting counter insurgency manuevers like they should be from this so called surge the American death toll would be higher than it currently is.

Currently America pays not only it's soldiers but pays hundreds of Millions of dollars of month Iraqi's so called Son Of Iraq. IN most cases these SOn's of Iraq are paid more than American troops.

SO you can bet after the election season American Soldiers kia IN iRAQ WILL IMMEDIATLY KICK BACK UP once they come out of the bunkers.

the press also does not mention that the US govt has paid millions of dollars to sunni and shia tribal chiefs to stop fighting...

the surge was/is a joke...

the beauty of statistics is that they can be manipulated to to support either side, pro or con...

Funny, but the friends of mine that I served with in Desert Storm who are back in Iraq right now totally disagree with what you guys are saying....

I'm sure all those guys would LOVE to go back to Iraq on vacation with their families because the surge has been soooo effective.

Funnier is A few guys I know are doing nothing but sitting around in Baracks and playing World Of Warcraft.

My friends are playing Final Fantasy 7 because their internet connection isn't fast enough for MMOs.
