index.html page of one of my sites was missing for a week and it was removed from the google, the other pages are still listed.

how long will it take for google to re-list it again? does it get re-listed with the next googlebot visit?

That is impossible to answer. Why was it removed? Try submitting your index page manually and wait to see what happens. Use a meta tag tool and be sure everything looks good before you resubmit it.

put it on a socialbookmark site and get relisted in minutes

the page was 404 and was redirecting to the other page under the same domain.

since the other pages are still indexed, you should be ok

you might have screwed yourself for the PR this time around though, but keep the page up from now on and it is likely to bounce back
