pagerank booster? fake? or real?
 

someone is trying to sell me a tool and he claims that:

"it takes list of websites, uses whatever domain you wish makes the webites think you sending them traffic, they in turn show your link in there logs, which search engines spider. thus your PR goes nuts, very easy to target your traffic to"

Is that even possible?

sorta like redirecting a domain to another domain with pagerank? like redirect a pr0 to a pr5 domain and now that pr0 will be pr5

thats how you get fake pagerank. which is a no no

well if ur link is showing up on their referrer logs, that wouldnt be fake PR

that wouldn't work , it will get you banned by google

its an old trick that google is used to , they banned sites that do it.

think u can beat google with these tricks? think again.

As someone said it's a very old 'trick' and more or less useless nowdays apart from possibly getting you penalised.

Possible, yes.
Google already knows about this and has put measures in place to stop it. This was the big thing about 2 years ago, its long dead now.

this is fake, cuz you need quality backlinks, and quality sites are not being cheated that easy. crappy sites are, but having a backlink there is even contra productive, cuz they contain a lotta shit, and google red-flags you, for being listed on a lot of crappy sites. just go get a few quality backlinks thats far better than boosting on shitbunches.

it works, i see those fake urls in my logs all the time. Not sure how muhc help for PR

Haha... you can download them for free all over the Internet now because Google started sandboxing sites using it... Hence like Wired Guy said, it's already dead.
