Saban = Fail
|
Man, if bama beats georgia and lsu get's upset and with 1 and 4 losing
oklahoma will probably go to #1 and maybe bama leapfrogs missouri to the #2 position <crosses fingers> |
Anyone that uses the word "fail" in a thread = FAIL

texas plays both oklahoma and missouri so if they beat them, bama will get some leapfrogs by default

You guys are joking, right? The game tonight will not be a blowout like some Georgia people think....but it will be a UGA win in the end. Stafford and Moreno make up a 1-2 punch that is just too hard to handle for most people.

Who you kidding SweetT
Georgia is wearing black so they can go to their funeral on Black Sunday! Julio Jones and Coffee have a big game! |
3 words
Collard's, Cornbread & Butterbeans Alabama's O-Line ain't never missed a meal and the holes for Coffee will be big! |
OK....we will see....I will offline watching the game so I will check back and see what everyone says when it is over ;)
Got your excuses ready? --T |
#9 Wisconsin just went down to Michigan.

Bama 31 to zip.
OU may be the unanimous #1. That would break the record for weeks at #1 in the AP poll. They're currently tied with Notre Dame at 95 weeks. |
ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL Tide!!!

This is my guess come Monday..
1. Oklahoma 2. Texas 3. Alabama 4. LSU (they won buy ugly against an unranked - Bama leapfrogs) 5. Missouri (Don't play this week) |
Even if Bama doesn't leapfrog Missouri this week, Missouri play's Texas and Texas will win. They'll jump them when they lose.
Oklahoma & Texas plays so that'll drop 1 of them down so if Alabama doesn't mess up and get a big head, they can snag the #2 spot Pardon me while I make a wish and dare to dream! |
My prayers were answered! Texas didn't get the respect I thought they would get tho.
AP Top 25 1. Oklahoma (43) 4-0 1,599 2. Alabama (21) 5-0 1,565 3. LSU 4-0 1,466 4. Missouri (1) 4-0 1,453 5. Texas 4-0 1,362 |

that USC loss was something crazy. Atleast with Ga. and Al. they were both rated teams, neither which have the reputation of USC.

The rest of the season is going to be interesting for sure as the top 5 teams play someone else in the top 5 so the rankings are sure to change from what they are now. |
Bama's reality check will come in baton rouge... book it..

I don't drink the kool-aid but it's hard not to take a sip. Bama is much like Obama - undeserving of holding the top spot. The experience just ain't there yet. Alabama just can't finish a game. After half-time, they tend to sit back on their heels and try to "ride-out" their lead. Even some of the coaches take on that mentality. Hell, Alabama played Georgia man to man in the first half - shutting them down but in the second half they went to zone and Georgia picked their secondary apart. A great team picks their opponent apart for 4 quarters - not just the first 2. Honestly, what really makes me happy isn't their raking this year - it's all the press Alabama has gotten and Saban's willingness to play freshmen players. Any prospect doesn't want to sit out their freshman year riding the bench. When they see that Saban keeps his word to play them (as in Julio Jones) - this helps with recruitment and THAT is how a dynasty gets built. My high hopes is for the 2009 season. SweetT - Georgia's a great team with incredible resilience and I'm thinking (tho not hoping) that we'll be playing again in the SEC Championship game. I honestly don't know if Alabama can do it twice :) |
