Because of the electoral college, I won't. Illinois is going way democratic (how I would vote anyway) so there is no need to vote. I still might vote, but it's pointless for me.

Believe it or not, most of you live in states like this. That's why we need the popular vote to count. More people would vote if they knew it mattered.

If all of those in locked states due to the electoral college would toss a vote for a third party, you can end up making a difference come next time. More people do it the bigger the chance a third party can get federal funding which helps break up the two party system.
