Because the shit grown in Cali is par with the best pot on the planet.

And i was told this by someone who has frequented Amsterdam and knows the pot well. I smoked him out after he went to Amsterdam and he claimed it was as good if not better!

I'm not an avid smoker but I will smoke from time to time. I've smoked a little all over the world and NOWHERE have I been so high than that which was from a weed pharmacy in California. WOW!!! Amazing weed. Best on earth I'm sure of it.

Never been to Amsterdam... but I must say I have been couch locked a few times on some of this whacko weed from the cali area.
