I'm pretty sure that the large news media sites that these ads appeared on know who they are dealing with on the ad buys. McCain and Obama are spending millions and the ad buyers know who the sellers are on deals that big. A Democrat trying to have that ad listed would set off alarms and the media would be all over it turning it into a scandal.

I'm pretty sure it would be illegal for anyone else to place those ads with the "Paid for by..." line.
