Why do you care if the economy takes a shit?
Its not like you have 100k on the line... Most of you still live in your moms house.

To tell you the truth the government should just let the cards fall without any intervention. This bailout plan is complete bullshit. The government didn't do anything to bail out the citizens when they were losing their houses, but they are helping greedy financial institutions who got themselves into their own mess...:2 cents:

I trust my bank so the money in the accounts is not what I am worried about. Thankfully I am with a very small but highly rated bank that only did triple A prime lending etc. They are clean.
Now the concerns could/would be say a retirement portfolio that took a major hit and will continue to get hit hard for awhile. IRA is way down, stock portfolio is way down, etc. Then lets see inflation is bound to happen which will raise the prices on everything which makes it as if people have less money anyways. Specially since nobody is getting raises. Then everyone else who is effected will be spending much less, they are our consumers. Without consumers we earn less. Earning less = less to save for future and less to spend on services that can be cut such as design. |
what scares me is credit freezes and credit card companies start cutting open credit lines.

I know you're kidding, but it's not just the possible loss of bank accounts. This can have a ripple effect and even people looking for work at Walmart will be effected.
Bad economies hurt from the bottom up, not the top down. |
i will not have you speak about my moms house that way!
