in this day and age is it still possible that affiliate reps lose msg's in spambox?

hate thinking they are ignoring, awol, or not checking their spambox for potential business emails

I've noticed many programs, especially smaller ccbill ones seem to be on autopilot with no personal attention at all, but just hate wondering if they are even getting the emails....

everyone (especially affiliate reps) nowadays knows to check their spamboxes for mail that shouldn't be in the spambox, don't they??

I've e-mailed some programs with no response at all for ever. Generally it's a good indication that that program is dying and the sites are stale - expect closure or buyout in the next 3-6 months.

I hear ya

it is hard when you just aren't sure though... thinking "is my email in their spam box... do they hate me for some reason, was it something I said?.... are they going under and I would be wasting my time setting up more promo for them?..... "

i does not have spambox enabled at any of my emails. sure thing sometimes it takes load of time for get all these spam mails readed and deleted, but at general - it works better then any spambox. tried these spamboxes in past and this not way too good thing for use at type of emails like this.

You should always try icq/msging a program if your email doesnt receive a reply... Some people get 100s of new emails in their spam boxes daily, too many to go thru and check on a daily basis.

Doesn't that defeat the purpose of spam filtering? May as well just remove it and read your inbox. :)

And the flipside of that is that you should try emailing if your icq doesn't get answered. I don't get a good deal of icq messages that come through when I'm offline. Email is much more reliable. Back to the original question, I sift through my spam messages every few days as well.

I use the Phone mostly, then icq, then Email...

I've only once "lost" (i.e. ooops I deleted it) a message that went to my spam folder. Sometimes I do forget to check the spam folder daily but I think the latest I've replied because of it was 6 days.

I agree with sharphead too, back when I was the affiliate, that was always a good indication for me to keep an eye on the program and in extreme cases when they didn't reply to IM's either, I would just stop sending them traffic all together. 2c
