Bush's Speech..is it just me?
What got me when he was talking about what got us to this point, the cause/affect, was not a single mention of a war that costs nearly $10 Billion/month. I mean right or wrong, for it or against it, agree or disagree, at least ACKNOWLEDGE it. Heck he could have even spun it if he wanted to but no mention at all?? Isn't that a significant factor that has contributed to where we stand today?

I told him to jump in his time machine and to make it right. The money is out there. Just go back and get it. Just wait until next month when Mozamkenyakawandans start eating each other again and we have to send them 20 billion in aid to stop the killing. |

Once again your government has pulled the wool over your eyes and almost each and every one of you is buying into it hook, line and sinker.
There is no spoon. |

Not just one war. We are talking about 200k troops in EUROPE! More than Iraq and Afghanistan combined (or close to).
How about the FED printing press going non stop for 95 years? At some point we can not pay back the money borrowed from the fed let alone the interest rate. Yes we pay interest on the money we allow the fed to print. How about the SS liabilities? We can never pay those without painting more money. My god the list goes on, and way further back than Bush. |
That tool has zero credibility, but he sure remembered to use the scare tactic again.
This is just another in a long string of jobs he has failed miserably at, but this time he takes all of the US public down in the process. It happened under his watch, he is responsible. Funny that 700 Billion number is approx. what has been spent so far on the war, with more to come. Another lie he hoodwinked the US public with. He needs to be prosecuted. Hard to believe people (read as sheep) elected the idiot TWICE. Keep your blinders on people as this isn't over yet. I would like to see this bailout rejected. Maybe people would finally wake the fuck up. I have friends that are losing their homes, and nobody is stepping in to help them so why should business get preferential treatment. I hope they just reject the bailout and let the cards fall as they may instead of making future generations bear the burden. Hit the fucking reset button.....we are way overdue. |

The only ones who could have stopped this, didn't. Hell, half the country wants to vote in his much older clone. "by the people, for the people" has come and gone... the people didn't vote him in, he hasn't done anything for the people. You're stuck with it only because you choose to be. The media and the government has played the US like a fiddle, splitting you.... dividing you. You're one nation against itself. To stop a government, the people must rally together. But how can it do that when 50% hates the other 50% and vice versa? The politicians did this. The media did this. The people did... nothing. |

What stuck out about "how we got here" was him making sure to emphasize it started about 10 years ago.
