It's not about getting out of this debate, it's about getting the VP one canceled. They'll have to "reschedule" this one and replace the VP one with it. McCain isn't bad in a debate format. Palin on the other hand isn't even allowed to talk to reporters.

I seriously think the whole thing is straight out of Trading Spaces. Eddie Murphy is Sarah Palin and there are a couple old guys who made a bet on whether they could turn anyone into a VP.
