Last I knew the dems had control of congress and house, and the pres doesn't create or pass legislation. Like this thread is really about that. :uhoh

Actually he does, he just gets an ally in congress to present the bill for him.

The dems have had control for less than 2 years, during which time the republicans have filibustered or the president has vetoed most of their agenda. Not to mention, the current economic crisis has been brewing for far longer than the past 2 years.

But you're right, this thread isn't about that.....except you're the one who tried to make it about that with your dig on Obama...instead of just letting this be a joke.

In the first 6 years of the Bush leadership team there were only 1 vetos. In the past 2 years there have been 11. Dont hurt yourself figuring it out high speed. Although I have no love for the Democrats, except of course i do admire the first black president of harvard law review. I wonder how hard it was for a muslim to get that position.
