Car People - INSIDE - serious business

So as some of you might know I own a Corvette. Now, living in Toronto this is not the most practical car to have as your daily driver.

Long story short, I bought a new house and need a 4 season car, I'm selling the vette. What to buy??

I'm looking used and bang-for-the-buck. So far, thse two cars fit the bill

a) B6 (04/05) Audi S4
b) e46 M3 (02-04)

PS - anyone want to buy a corvette? Special price for GFYers :winkwink:

i've always been an Audi guy - even though i drive a BMW right now. and after this experience i'd always buy an Audi again

Get the AUDI. And if it's S-line it's superb.

two very different cars man. i love the e46 but it'd prob be same as your vette in terms of practicality. i had one and it's a fun car but has a rough ride/side - i wouldn't recommend it as a daily driver but weekend car or short commuter car

Isn't the M3 just a RWD car? Probably wouldn't be a whole lot better than the vette with our Ontario winters.

I would get something in AWD.

You can throw winters on it and kind of sort of get away with it :P the vette can't be driven in the winter at all.. no winter tires.. no ground clearance.. and it's just plain wrong.

Living there, you might want to go with one of the SUV's and nothing really expensive. Snow damage. Bad driver damage.

I'm just trying to avoid having my soul completely sucked out of my body. I love driving.. it's not just a means of transportation to me.. it's a source of enjoyment. I'm leaning heavily towards the S4...

RS4 is even more fun ;) and the lastest one has the same engine than the R8
