Do Google Analytics TAGS fuck up SEO ?

If my link is:
http://www.lela-star.com/?utm_source...ign=golivetest

instead of http://www.lela-star.com/

That has to have a slightly negative effect, right?

i dont know how much weight (if any) SE's put into the href info. i'd imagine if the destination is the same then thats what it cares about

i'm not an seo god though

...yet

Kard63 09-23-2008 11:30 AM

bump for me

Cyndalie 09-23-2008 11:44 AM

Yes.

Keep the url as clean as possible and track internally (code) if you can.

d-null 09-23-2008 01:15 PM

why are you doing that with google analytics?

Klen 09-23-2008 01:18 PM

I avoid use anything from google beside google.com and eventualy google webmaster tool.I dont like when someone spying on me and try to steal like google.

pornguy 09-23-2008 01:22 PM

I have no idea why you did that with the URL

This site. Big Tits has analytics on the page.

And it dont hurt SEO.

moeloubani 09-23-2008 01:41 PM

i use google analytics on every site I have, never seen it affect SEO either positively or negatively!

Kard63 09-23-2008 04:34 PM

I'm talking about the tags you can use to mark the traffic. Are you noobs or what?

JamesK 09-23-2008 09:58 PM

There's different ways to track that shit. I wouldn't use that.
