Hi Daizzzy - We can certainly set you up with a server that meets or exceeds those specs above, and give you an awesome deal on bandwidth along with it. How much bandwidth are you looking for or using at this time? Shoot me an email at andy @ ccbill.com and I would be happy to send you a quote for our world class hosting at CaveCreek.net (over 10 years and still growing strong!)

Daizzzy,
I can get you up and running on an all enterprise server.
You have your choice of a Core2Quad Q9300 CPU or a Xeon X3350 CPU which are 2 offerings of ours which are in the same level of CPU you posted above.

The Q9300 and X3350 Quad Cores are one of the newest releases from Intel, and we have them ready to go in hot-swap Supermicro chassis.

Email me and we'll talk --- you'll definitely be happy here, I am very confident of that!

Daizzy if you are really serious about your business and are looking for Quality and not just shopping for the cheapest. , then you really should talk to TechieMedia. I have been with most of the hosts that post on this board and none have compared to the quality I am getting from the Techie crew. :2 cents::2 cents:

Sly 09-22-2008 04:34 PM

I would talk to Bridgitte over at Phat Servers.com

Any host can have any spec server you want built for you, that shouldn't even be part of your decission. I suggest doing some searches on the boards for any reputable host you are considering and look for bad support or downtime threads. This information is vital when considering any host. Remember to weed out the obvious paid spammers and paid post trolls and only consider the real customer comments whether good or bad. Now look for the hosts with bad support and or downtime threads then take a careful look at the rest. :2 cents::2 cents:

Exactly. I think Quality hosting is determined by far more things then just being the cheapest. .....Good post SpeakEasy..:thumbsup

I'll post the specs in the email we exchanged for everyone to take a look at, since there may be other people who would like to take advantage.

I'm going to attach 2 options for you. The SAS drives raise costs a lot, so you may be interested in SATA until you need SAS at a later date.

Not sure I would consider that server "industrial" strength, but good luck on your search.

tony286 09-22-2008 06:06 PM

talk to mike from webair he will hook you up.

Iron Fist 09-22-2008 06:18 PM

Come on folks... you know Servage and Dreamhost can tackle that config! It's all good! Only 5 bucks a month for 5 terrabytes! How can you possibly go wrong with that!

the question is in industrial platform
also many companies use homepc processors for servers. we don't need that and that's what i mean

thx
we are looking for good configuration (price is not on the top of the list) and excellent channels. i have already requested testimonials for some companies from this thread on other boards. also i'll search myself for their 'credit history'

and we want to taper the list showing the spec.

Holy shit, $164/mth is awesome for that box.

Do I have the option of a net debian install without all of the layered junk (cpanel for example)?

Is that your normal rates, or heavily discounted? I'll definitely hit you up in the future if you have offerings like that.

Daizzy, this is a sweet deal.

MrDeiz 09-23-2008 02:50 AM

also i'd be grateful for sharing your experience about working w/ ISPrime
