We went to see Righteous Kill
 

Funbrunette and I went to see Righteous Kill on Friday night. We came out of there with mixed feelings. It was a good movie, but maybe we expected too much from these two brilliant actors. It was good though, and if you're a fan of DeNiro and Pacino (and who isn't)... then it's one you shouldn't miss.

I'd give it a 7/10.

Had a similar experience with Burn After Reading.
It was entertaining, but not brilliant, and we left saying "what the hell was that about?"

Stay away from spoiler sites about the movie. You'll enjoy it a lot more. You won't be let down.

I can't help but feel like DeNiro and Pacino are just churning out a movie for old time's sake, to give their fans yet another movie together, and kind of burning themselves up. But I'm still going to give it a chance and go see it.

I LOVED Burn After Reading... absolutely fantastic entertainment.

I really liked Burn After Reading, but I'm a bit of a Coen Brothers fanboy...but as with most of their movies, I'll definitely have to check it out a second time so I can pick up on the subtle things that always appear in the movies that aren't often caught on the first viewing...
