He was the best footballer I have ever seen. I used to go to Tottenham home games just to watch him (wasn`t even a Spurs supporter). Amazing skills.

Extremely famous British football player that once was actually really good but then found drink and insanity and beat up a wife or two along the line. Pop culture icon over here now.

A person i have no sympathy for at all.

He was always an idiot in his day. Good football player, but that doesn't make everything ok. He used to beat his wife, he used to practically assault players when he had a spell up here with Rangers, he was arrogant, he twice could have caused a riot in the derby matches up here, and now he is an alcoholic.
