1) There's no free attendance, right? Gotta pay $250-300 to register?
2) The hotel where its at is pretty expensive, like $260 a night for 6 nights.

Is there a cheaper way to attend or stay?

the gold coast casino is across the street, you can also stay at the rio which is down the block... they might be cheaper & within walking distance

check hotels.com or use priceline to get a cheap hotel... the strip isn't that big & cabs are everywhere... would only take like 5-10 min to get to the palms from pretty much any casino on the strip or close by

Yeah, I stayed at the Gold Coast last year. Was about 35 bucks a night and a 5 minute walk to the Palms.

Was perfectly fine. Not the most astounding room in the world, but for 35 it was great.

also with housing as cheap as it is in vegas right now if you have buddies/friends you can rent a house for a week
for a very reasonable rate
and split the cost

The moment you get there you can score some crystal meth. That way you don't need to sleep in the park because you don't need to sleep at all. :winkwink:

1) Post a thread on gfy saying you're looking for an internext badge and willing to trade traffic and/or something else for it. Given the current market conditions, I bet someone will give you one for a few joins. Remember that sponsors are given a bunch of free badges so its win win for them.

2) Do a search on priceline or other hotel searching service, you can always find a cheap hotel and cab it every day and still be way cheaper than paying the full rate. It won't be as convenient, but if you want to save cash, that's the way to do it.

The Gold Coast across the street from The Palms is a good deal and the buffet breakfasts are very reasonable. It's close enough to The Palms so you won't need to spend money on cabs
