What luxury brand making good sportwear?

I decided to go back and get in shape with diet and running/gym. So looking for some cool outfits to feel good doing sport. What luxury brands produce good sport wear? Not talking adidas/nice/puma, but d&g, gucci and armani level of brands?

TimBlaze 09-21-2008 02:25 PM

It feels good to wear them for work or going out, so why not doing sport?

beemk 09-21-2008 02:33 PM

well if you sweat in them you arent going to want to wear the same stuff for anything but going to the gym or they will get gross, not to mention you should be going for comfort.

mineistaken 09-21-2008 02:43 PM

trust me you will feel as much great in nike/adidas/puma
Sometimes I don't understand people :)

Maybe you right, but my question was not why to wear it, but who make luxury sportwear...:winkwink:

because non of them are worth the money
no gucci or prada can compete with centuries of sports wear experience you get with adidas for example.
wearing gucci sports wear also shows you are clown, new money that is desperate to show off

Just ask the shop you normally buy from to bring some sportswear next time they drop by your house to show their new collections :winkwink:

100% true, but then again the Gucci sportswear is fucking nice. The shoes are kinda overpriced with 550EUR for a pair of sneakers, but we all were young and dumb :2 cents:
D&G also does some sportswear but only real clowns were D&G nowadays.
Get some Ralph Lauren, Lacoste, Boss Polos, some REAL sport shoes and some REAL sport pants. Should do the trick for you.
Dont forget to get a new Breitling for the sport, or all the bigger kids will laugh at you at the gym. :winkwink:

GigoloShawn 09-21-2008 03:10 PM

I like the 100% cotton grey t's at virtually every Wal-Mart/ShopKo/K-Mart/Sears/Longs/CVS/etc. They're also under $5/ea. So, you tear one, you bleed a bit, you shit your pants when trying to bench 400? No problem, just fold it over, wipe a few times, and put on another one.

It's also lacking the "I AM PAYING TO BE A BILLBOARD" motif.

This dude is not looking for common stuff like Adidas, Nike or Jordan. He is looking for "haute couture", only high-end stuff! Life is a fashion show and the world is his runway!

Matt 26z 09-21-2008 06:48 PM

So in other words.... Laugh at the fat guy with the pathetic bench all you want, but you WILL be jealous that he can afford to get sweaty in Prada.

That must be the effect you are going for?

This is the best answer so far!

Since you are such a fashionista you should already be having designers send you previews of their latest collections for you to try. If you don't then I guess it obviously means you haven't arrived yet.

Japanese people are the most label whorish out there. All the luxury stores Vuitton,Chanel etc always FILLED with Japanese, EVERYWHERE. They will be able to tell if you are wearing generic vs designer in the gym.

sltr 09-22-2008 07:45 AM

DWB 09-22-2008 07:50 AM

Back off haters. Rock on Rami!

BTW... You found a good place around BKK that has larger size sports wear for falang? Everything I find is too small even though the size says XL. It's Thai XL... too small. :-(
