i said this right when it first came out, you could look up articles in many other countries that claimed "whew, the us will help out local investors" from china to aussie...

That's exactly why banks are govt regulated.... when they fuck up, govts have to bail them out. Same the world over. Your banks fucked up, your gov bails them out. No crying game, sorry.
